Our client is a highly respected specialist retailer who have demonstrated considerable growth over the past decade. With an extensive network of stores, the business is a major player from within an international group of retailers where quality of product and service is paramount. They have a requirement for a Financial Controller ideally who has a background in Logistics.
You will work with the Logistics team to understand and manage potential risks and opportunities in the warehouse and distribution budget, also taking into account changes being made. This role requires a confident communicator who can meet with 3PL's to understand and challenge costs structures, whilst also supporting the trading and logistics teams to maximise and claim central distribution centre related rebates. You will understand and manage the complexities of a matrix B2B business, within a fast paced organisation. This role will play an integral part in improving the reporting to make more informative business decisions.
You will be an effective communicator with a passion for understanding and challenging operations. Candidates must be CIMA or ACCA qualified. Business travel will also be required with this role. If you feel you have the skills and qualifications required for the role then please apply.
