This leading specialist provider of logistics services places great emphasis on a high quality service to a niche market. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Warehouse Manager preferably in a "Business to Business" operation. You will be an excellent "team builder" with exceptional people management skills and your commitment to the importance of a quality service and an impressive customer experience will inspire your team to work towards success in these areas too. It will be your responsibility to develop and coach your team to ensure that they reach their full potential and that demanding and exacting KPIs linked to inbound and outbound metrics, stock accuracy and H&S compliance are achieved. It goes without saying therefore, that you will be able to interpret and analyse data and will be used to monitoring performance and efficiency along with compiling and maintaining SOP's.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for workload planning and volume forecasts along with controlling headcount and operational costs to ensure targets are achieved without compromising set budgetary parameters. You will be working within a sector that can be affected by seasonal fluctuations so you will need to ensure that you and your team can respond to meet the demands of the operation.

We seek a highly organised, strong leader who is an excellent communicator and enthusiastic team player. Good IT skills are also required including experience of working with modern-day Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). A good understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques is also to be expected. Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
