A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stock & Systems Team Manager to join our client who are a highly successful 3PL; offering multi-temperature logistics solutions to an impressive and demanding customer base.
You will support the warehouse operation with Stock, Systems and Operational issues and work closely with all operational departments to manage and resolve all reported problems. The team has a heavy influence on the daily timetable and together with the Duty Operations and Shift Manager make key decisions affecting the warehouse output and fulfilment.
Alongside your manager you will be responsible for managing and developing a large team of support staff across the RDC. Your main focus will be to improve stock integrity/accuracy and reduce all waste across the site. You will direct, manage and coordinate all Operational Administration Support Functions across the RDC which will include Inbound, Bookings, Order release, Despatch, Inventory and Returns. You will ensure processes are followed in line with Company Strategy and that the systems are used correctly enabling accurate reporting.
They require highly motivated professionals with previous experience of managing a stock and inventory team and ideally in a third party environment. A working knowledge of SAP and WMS would be highly desirable. If you feel you have the skills and experience required for the role please apply.
