An amazing opportunity for a Logistics Account Manager to join a leading logistics service provider specialising in FMCG warehouse and transport solutions.
Your remit will embrace total responsibility for the fulfilment of contractual obligations and assuring the retention of a number of key supply chain contracts.
We seek a strong individual who has the gravitas to forge sound relationships with key players across multiple contracts and internal colleagues across all levels. You will take ownership for the contract review processes and ensure that they operate within P&L and budgetary constraints. Your responsibilities will encompass the gathering of accurate forecast data, liaising with warehousing and transport operational colleagues, KPI management, trend analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be expected to identify contract development opportunities and deliver process improvements, efficiencies and financial benefits.

Candidates need to be inspiring leaders with previous experience of encouraging and engaging teams in the on-going provision of client expectations during times of great pressure, ever-changing and conflicting priorities and seasonal peaks. It goes without saying that you will also have a strong commercial and financial acumen, experience of transport and warehousing operations, KPI management. Good IT skills are also essential including Excel. A degree or equivalent higher education would also be advantageous. Extensive travelling is to be expected.
