Reporting to a General Manager and with daily operational and customer contact, the job holder will be fully responsible for the efficient management of the fleet and for adherence to costs, service KPI’s and SLA. He/she will lead and motivate a substantial number of subordinates ensuring for harmonious employee relationships. You will also manage the subcontractor base and seek additional savings and efficiencies. In style, a proactive manager.
Certainly a graduate with CPC (International) your background to date will have encompassed management of large mixed transport operations from within a 3PL environment. You will be an inspirational leader and team builder with a passion for safety, hygiene and efficient running. Proven customer relationship skills are essential as is your passion for continuous improvement.
