This is a well-known retailer with a wide customer proposition in terms of range and multi-channel offerings. The company is very successful, profitable and dictates market trends in many of its sectors.
In order to provide cover while waiting for an internal transition, and also to help deliver a major change programme, this role will be for 6 - 9 months and require you to lead and develop and exiting supply chain team.
You will manage the complete end-to-end supply chain cycle of the clothing business from overseas sourcing through to delivery into store and direct to customer. The real focus of the position however is range planning, inventory management, supplier development, stock write down work, range change and season planning. This will involve developing very close relationships with the buying & merchandising tams as you would expect.
Ideally you will have interim management or consulting experience in clothing supply chain - ideally gained within a retailer.
In addition to a very strong knowledge of retail supply chain, you will have led and delivered complex change management programmes, and understand how to deliver transformation in a complex multi-national business.
Given the European nature of the company, extensive overseas travel will be required.
